The customer is a well-known domestic air conditioning refrigeration valve enterprise.The customer used to machine parts of refrigeration valves by sequential machining mode, one person operated two sets of equipment. After using the indexing chuck, the customer realized the operation of six equipments by one person, which not only greatly reduced the number of workers in the workshop, but also improved the precision of the valve body.(The requirements of relevant correlation accuracy of refrigeration valve body, such as concentricity, etc. is high.) At present, there are more than 50  chucks from our company on customer’s site .Customer began to use joint robots to load and unload products from last year. One robot controls three devices, and ultimately one person manages 12-20 devices.

The indexing chuck project is a technical innovation project of the customer, aiming at improving the machining efficiency and precision of the products. As this was the first time that this customer contacted this kind of chuck, our company  provided a series of solutions from grippers, equipment modification, loading and unloading solutions, successfully dealing with customer problems.The customer has improved the efficiency and accuracy because of using the indexing chuck.

The customer is a well-known copper valve enterprise in China, and also a contract manufacturer of Japanese SMC in China . The customer purchased our chuck for SMC gas valve products machining. Using indexing chuck to ensure that the geometric tolerance of the product meets the requirements of the drawings, and realize the operation mode of one person-four machines. At present, customers are replacing people with machines, and they want to really replace people with equipment from the machining line.

The core purpose of customer's using indexing chuck is to improve the geometrical tolerance of each position after product machining, and to improve the machining efficiency of products, from one persone-one machine to one person - multiple machine.(Customer's products are small in batches and various in types.) After using the indexing chuck, the customer's production flexibility has been significantly improved. Previously, in order to complete the machining of a product, at least three equipments should be arranged to machine three processes at the same time. Three equipments, three tooling and three times of debugging were needed. After integration, only one equipment and one time of debugging can complete all the machining.

The original operating mode of the customer is one person operating 2 equipments, sequential machining, which is not only inefficient, but also has high labor cost. The customer began to use our chuck in 2014. Firstly, small specification product tried out 1 set, then 1 unit(2 sets). Then, medium  specification product tried out 1 unit and unit for big specification product lately. Finally, other non-batch units were used. At present, all ball valves on customer site are machined by indexing chuck. The number of personnel, occupancy rate of space and unqualified rate on the customer site have been significantly reduced.
